Our 2021 First Impression Bordeaux Blend pleasures the senses. Our 2020 Bourdeaux Blend has matured into a rich, old world style. First Impression has a beautiful, velvety texture stemming from the clay in Mizel Estate’s soil. Each decadent sip is well structured with round flavor and superb length. First Impression 2020 is composed of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Petit Verdot and 30% Cabernet Franc. This wine was aged 18 months, 70% in new French oak and the remainder in neutral oak. First Impression will age for 10+ years. If you simply cannot resist, open now and decant 2-3 hours before indulging. Cheers!

Our 2019 Bordeaux Blend is stunning now and continues to age decadently for a decade. Breathe the intense aromas of vanilla and spice. Savor the broad and lingering tannins. First Impression is composed of 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Cabernet Franc, and 20% Petit Verdot. Open in the morning and decant 5 hours before serving. First Impression elevates the classic Bordeaux to a new level of satisfaction.

Our 2018 Bordeaux is full bodied with rich aromas of coffee, cherry and licorice. 85% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes add a refined polish. 10% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc complete the blend. It is silky and complex, with a superb balance from beginning to end. First Impression ages for 12 years and for maximum pleasure decant 5 hours before serving.

Our 2017 Bordeaux blend is a beautifully balanced blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Petit Verdot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 4% Merlot. The wine was aged 50% in new French Oak and 50% in once used Oak for 18 months. The grapes were planted at Mizel Estate in 2013. First Impression 2017 is our second vintage and achieves a refined, layered taste. First Impression will age for 15 years and tastes best opened the day prior and decanted a few hours before indulging.

Our first Bordeaux Blend showcases a menagerie of Mizel Estate’s young grapes. It is composed of 45% Cabernet Franc, 20% Petit Verdot, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Malbec, and 5% Merlot. Grapes were aged 50% in new French oak and 50% in used oak for 18 months. Currant, blackberry, spiced plum, wood spice, and prune aromas with a pepper finish dazzle the palette. Please age to enrich flavors. Best opened the day prior and decanted a few hours before opening.
